The fashion world was full of surprises, as the second annual Jacksonville Fashion Week rocked the runway March 28-31st at Metro Park downtown. A show sure to impress, fashion designers locally and nationally hit the runways with their new collections for everyone to enjoy!
Walking in to the amphitheater at Metro Park, words could not describe the setting and festivities galore. Certainly a lot of hard work and preparation had gone into this event. Jacksonville’s biggest names in fashion attended the event, alongside an incredible staff of volunteers and vendors.
With an array of swimwear, menswear, and, of course, ladies attire, and for the very first time bridal wear, nothing was left out of this fashion show that for sure put Jacksonville’s fashion talent on the map. So, if any of you fashionistas didn’t make it to the show, here are my top twelve picks hot off the runway! And, brides, a lot of these make for fabulous honeymoon attire!

12.) Designer Lisa Kaminski

Lisa Kaminski’s bold color-block suit makes
the final cut! An absolutely gorgeous two-piece!

11.) Designer Brittany Blair

I couldn’t resist my all-time favorite colors.
Khaki and black. Classic and beautiful, and
a must-have in every woman’s closet. I am
inspired, yet again, by the simplicity and
beauty of the design.

10.) Designer Timo Weiland

A fun pattern, bold colors, and a pop of “sexy”
make this sundress super appealing and unique!
This definitely had to be in my top ten.

9.) Designer Timo Weiland

Dainty, soft, and whimsical speak to this
gorgeous dress by Timo Weiland. A staple
in a woman’s closet who is seeking the
ultimate feminine flare.

8.) Designer By Smith

I couldn’t help but think “Sunny Delight”
when this bright ensemble appeared on
the runway. Certainly inspired by spring
and summer’s bold color trends. This will
be hot in stores, and something you need
to pair together for the ultimate color blast!

7.) Designer Brittany Blair

The color of blush and textured rosettes
certainly came together in this beautiful
ensemble by Brittany Blair. The patterns,
textures, and design speak feminine,
beautiful, and bold, while giving amazing
height to any woman wearing this.

6.) Designer E Marie

Busy, but beautiful, this embellished pencil
skirt is a must-have for every woman!

5.) Designer Bobby K.

Simply a wow-factor for JFW; not to mention
Bobby K. won “Most Creative” for the show;
this stunning black dress dazzled the audience
with his signature skull logo cut out on the
back of the dress. This will certainly be a
signature piece for Bobby.

4.) Designer Uliana Urubzhilova

Polished and sophisticated, this look from
Uliana Urubzhilova certainly gets two
thumbs up! A classy day on the job, or a
more casual outing. This beautiful attire
can be dressed up or down!

3.) Designer Caroline Long

Why not be the envy on the beach with this
gorgeous long skirt from Caroline Long’s
Trunks Beach Couture collection? Loads
of fabric drape beautifully from this skirt
enveloped in starfish designs.

2.) Designer By Smith

I love these gorgeous iridescent shorts By Smith!
A touch of class and glimmer to a casual outing.
Simply stunning and so wearable.

…….. and my #1 pick for Fashion Trends for 2012

1.) Lisa Kaminski

Don’t think I haven’t already placed my order
